University of Capetown Why the University of Capetown? The University of Cape Town (UCT) is South Africa's oldest university, and is one of Africa's leading teaching and research institutions. The University of Cape Town is organised into six faculties:

Minimum GPA of 2.7 or above (Some programs
require a 3.0 GPA.)
