Here is a list of some of the courses that have already been approved for credit at UAB!

NOTE: In order for your Semester at Sea (Academically sponsored by the University of Virginia) study abroad credit to count toward your degree at UAB, you MUST have met with the UAB Study Abroad Program Director prior to applying to Semester at Sea.

Eligibility:

  • At least Sophomore standing.

  • Minimum GPA of 2.7 or above (Some programs require a 3.0 GPA.)

  • Permission of UAB Study Abroad Program
